Role Overview:
The Hardware Specialist at Scholr-Ai will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of hardware components that are integral to the Scholr-Ai school management system. You will ensure that all hardware is functioning optimally, provide troubleshooting support, and work with schools to integrate hardware solutions seamlessly into their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
| Install, configure, and maintain hardware components such as servers, networking devices, and other related equipment. |
| Collaborate with the software development and implementation teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration. |
| Provide technical support to schools, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues. |
| Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure hardware reliability and performance. |
| Document hardware configurations, maintenance activities, and support processes. |
| Advise schools on hardware requirements and recommend upgrades as needed. |
| Stay updated on the latest hardware technologies and trends relevant to educational environments. |
Qualifications:
| Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. |
| 3-5 years of experience in hardware installation, maintenance, and support. |
| Strong technical skills in hardware configuration, networking, and troubleshooting. |
| Experience with school or educational institution IT environments is a plus. |
| Ability to work independently and manage multiple hardware projects simultaneously. |
| Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. |
| Willingness to travel to client sites as required. |
